D42 Wireless Dermatome
The width of the transplanted tissue is 42 mm, which can be reduced to 36 and 30 mm using clips (special terminals). The weight of the wireless dermatome is only 985 grams, which is an exceptional feature for wireless dermatomes.The handle of the wireless dermatome has a rechargeable 7.4V Li-ion 1200mAh battery, which makes it possible to work for 45 minutes continuously. Optionally, the D42 Wireless Dermatome can be equipped with a more powerful 2400 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The D42 wireless dermatome is ideal for working with the MEEK technique (brand method), because the flap width is 42 mm, which is fully suitable for special substrates using MEEK Humeca equipment (branded method).
The speed of the wireless dermatome is 7000 rpm. The thickness of the transplanted tissue varies from 0.0-1.2 mm in increments of 0.1 mm and is adjusted using the handle located on the side of the dermatome in mm. The lock on the handle prevents changes in the thickness of the flap during the operation. The battery and motor of the hand-held dermatome are not sterilized, in order to avoid accidental sterilization of the dermatome, a special sterilization box has been developed along with the battery, in which the wireless dermatome can be placed only without a battery and motor.
Prior to use, the non-sterile battery and motor are placed in a cordless dermatome using a special sterile funnel to prevent contamination. Batteries are fully charged within 2-3 hours.
